Mortgage Loan Officer (Experienced) | Citizens Financial — The Badges Broker

The market is about to move. Seasoned Loan Officers, this is your moment.

Rates are going to shift. When they do, the Loan Officers who are already planted, producing, and positioned with the right company will capture the wave. The ones who waited will watch it happen.

This is not a posting for someone testing the waters. We are hiring experienced, producing Loan Officers in the greater Sacramento region — professionals with at least 2–3 years of active origination behind them who are ready to plug into a better model and move now.

The Model That Works in Your Favor

One flat fee: $555 per closed loan. You keep the rest.

No percentage splits. No clawbacks. No surprises.
Your clients get rates that make you the easiest referral they will ever give. You get paid what you actually earned.
Fairness Clause: if $555 exceeds 20% of your gross commission, you pay the lesser amount. Always.
W-2 or 1099 — your choice. Your pipeline. Your database. Forever.

The Hybrid Structure

This is a hybrid role serving the greater Sacramento market, anchored by our Solano County offices in Vacaville and Fairfield:

Dedicated in-house desk with scheduled in-office collaboration days
Remote flexibility the rest of the week — you manage your pipeline where you work best
Direct access to leadership, processing, and marketing support when you're in the building

What We're Looking For

Active California MLO license (NMLS) in good standing — DRE or DFPI
Minimum 2–3 years of recent, relevant mortgage origination experience
Demonstrated production history and a working knowledge of the full loan lifecycle
Located in or within commuting distance of the greater Sacramento / Solano County region
Self-sourced business mindset — you build relationships, we give you the platform to scale them
Experience across multiple loan products (government, conventional, non-QM) strongly preferred
