Full job description

Job Summary
This position manages the payroll ,billing, and office functions of the facility in an accurate and timely manner while complying with federal, state, and local requirements that govern the facility and as directed by the Administrator. They will work cooperatively with all departments. This person maintains processes and systems in place to ensure timely and accurate collection of accounts receivable.

Duties

Accurate record keeping of the daily and monthly census statistics and payers
Process payroll through the electronic payroll and timekeeping system:
Set up payroll batches and enter standard information for each payroll.
Review and process employee timesheets.
Maintain files of timesheets, electronic payroll system reports, and adjustments for each period.
Assist employees and supervisors as needed with payroll issues.
Collections Management
Refund and Adjustment Management
Obtaining required authorizations for all services received
Obtaining required authorizations for all services received
Protecting PHI per HIPAA guidelines
Abiding with all facility policies and procedures including not disclosing user ID codes and passwords
Mail monthly private statements
Coordinate monthly triple check
Coordinate transportation
Working with other Department Heads as needed
Attending meetings as needed

Skills

Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in calendar management and schedule management tools.
Experience in budgeting and financial oversight within an office setting.
Ability to lead a team with confidence while promoting a positive work culture.
Familiarity with but not required.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred: Spanish speaker
