Are you an experienced presser seeking a fresh opportunity in Irvine, CA? Come be a part of the committed team at View Cleaners! We are on the lookout for talented individuals with exceptional ironing skills to uphold our top-notch standards. Valuing family-oriented values, View Cleaners offers a nurturing workplace environment. The Clothing Presser position demands keen attention to detail and top-notch time management abilities. While prior dry cleaning experience is advantageous, the right candidate will receive training.

$20 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities

Work at a modern facility in Irvine, CA, US, equipped with cutting-edge technology.
Demonstrate expertise in pressing techniques, including adapting to the specific demands of new fashion trends and fabrics.
Perform precise ironing and pressing of garments efficiently using hand methods or machine steam and vacuum.
Get familiar with the operations at the pressing station and the typical items processed there.
Follow all established standards, procedures, and practices diligently.
Thoroughly inspect clothing items and apply necessary finishes like stain guard or wrinkle release.
Ensure the proper functionality and maintenance of all pressing equipment.

Qualifications

Must have expertise in pressing techniques and be adaptable to the requirements of finishing various new and seasonal fashion styles and materials.
Proficiency in meticulously ironing and pressing garments manually or using machine steam and vacuum is essential.
Capable of efficiently executing pressing activities while maintaining precision.
Knowledge of the pressing equipment and the specific items typically processed at each station is required.
Must strictly adhere to all established standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Ability to inspect clothing items thoroughly and apply appropriate finishes such as stain guard and wrinkle release.
Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and proper functioning of pressing equipment.
