Full Job Description

Licensed Child Psychiatrist | Build Your Insurance-Based Practice

with Lean Medical

Compensation: $350-$400/hour | Up to $500,000+/year

Location: Remote / In-Person (California)

Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Preferred: Active credentialing with Aetna and/or Cigna

Lean Medical is a clinical platform that handles the entire operational backbone of an insurance-based

psychiatry practice: credentialing, billing, prior authorizations, claims, and compliance. You see patients

and get paid without the overhead.

We're recruiting board-certified psychiatrists with pediatric experience who want to build or expand a

caseload under our platform. We have strong demand for child and adolescent psychiatric services and

are looking for clinicians who are comfortable working with younger populations - whether that's your

primary focus or part of a mixed-age caseload.

How It Works

You practice under Lean Medical's group NPI. We onboard you into our credentialed network, match

you with insured patients, and run the back office. You set your own schedule, choose your clients, and

deliver care on your terms - via telehealth, in person, or both.

What You Bring

Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist (MD or DO)
Active, unrestricted license to practice in California
Experience working with children and adolescents (child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship

preferred but not required)

Current credentialing with Aetna and/or Cigna (preferred)
Open to telehealth, in-person, or a hybrid model
Malpractice insurance (we can help you find coverage if needed)
