Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Staff Recruiter to join our dynamic human resources team. In this pivotal role, you will drive talent acquisition strategies, manage full-cycle recruiting processes, and build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike. Your expertise will help us attract top talent across various departments, ensuring our organization continues to thrive with skilled professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence our company's growth by sourcing, engaging, and onboarding exceptional candidates through innovative recruitment techniques and talent management practices.

Position Summary:

The Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts for the Camanche, IA facility. This role also serves as a key community ambassador, supporting local outreach, workforce partnerships, and hospitality efforts to strengthen the company’s presence and candidate pipeline.

This position works closely with plant leadership, HR, and corporate recruiting to ensure hiring needs are met while promoting a positive company image both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions across assigned locations
Partner with plant managers and supervisors to identify hiring needs and workforce planning priorities
Develop and manage job postings across job boards, social media, and local advertising channels
Source candidates through multiple channels including employee referrals, community outreach, and online platforms
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews
Coordinate and facilitate interviews with plant leadership
Guide hiring managers through candidate selection and hiring decisions
Extend offers and coordinate pre-employment processes (background checks, drug screening, onboarding)

Community Involvement & Workforce Development

Build and maintain relationships with local schools, technical colleges, workforce development agencies, and community organizations
Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and community outreach initiatives
Coordinate and participate in plant tours, student visits, and workforce pipeline programs
Support apprenticeship, internship, and entry-level workforce initiatives
Identify and develop new local recruiting partnerships to strengthen candidate pipelines

Hospitality & Candidate Experience

Serve as the primary host for on-site candidate visits and interviews, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
Coordinate candidate visit logistics including scheduling, facility tours, and interview flow
Partner with plant leadership to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience
