Marketing Associate

NorthPoint is seeking a creative, forward-thinking Marketing Associate to support advertising, product sourcing, and social marketing initiatives. This role combines strategic product ideation with hands-on content collaboration to bring both our brand and our clients’ brands to life.

You will assist the sales team with thoughtful product sourcing, stay ahead of industry trends, and communicate directly with suppliers. Working closely with Product Marketing Managers, you’ll help develop personalized presentations aligned with clients’ marketing goals and brand objectives.

In addition, you’ll support NorthPoint’s social marketing efforts by collaborating on content development, contributing to scripts, and assisting with video production, including recording and execution. You’ll help transform product ideas and campaign concepts into engaging digital content that drives brand awareness and audience engagement.

As part of the marketing team, you’ll contribute to creative brainstorms and support the execution of both client-facing and internal campaigns.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable supporting on-camera projects, and excited to blend product creativity with social media storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Supports sales staff by developing product presentations
Generate creative solutions to fulfill specific customer needs
Communicate with vendors to obtain necessary product information
Stay informed on the latest market trends and new product information
Assist with the social media video content
Assist with the brainstorming and development of marketing campaigns
Assist in internal communications around new product launches and supplier promotions
Create content for email campaigns, social media, and blogs

Qualifications

BS degree in Marketing or relevant field preferred
One or more years’ experience in a marketing department or similar role
A proactive self-starter with the ability to manage many tasks efficiently and simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Detail and relationship oriented; gets along well as part of a team and can effectively communicate with a variety of constituents
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, notably PowerPoint
Comfortable being on camera for social content
Experience in video editing software like Instagram and TikTok editor, CapCut, etc. is preferred
