Full Job Description

Overview
MRI Technologist – Radiology, MRI specialty, needed in Needham, MA. Travel temporary assignment starts 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,801–$2,943. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Shift: 5x8 rotating (day/evening). Work involves performing MRI exams in an acute care–style imaging setting as part of a dedicated imaging team.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations across prescribed protocols, ensuring high-quality images that meet clinical requirements.
Prepare patients, provide clear explanations of the procedure, position for scans, and select appropriate coils and sequences.
Screen patients for MRI safety, assess contraindications, and monitor for patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
Administer and monitor contrast as per protocol, observe for adverse reactions, and follow established safety procedures.
Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and archiving of images; verify patient data and orders for each study.
Maintain MRI equipment and work environment, adhere to safety standards, and collaborate with the radiology team to optimize workflow.

Requirements

Active ARRT MRI certification (verification required)
BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) certification
Minimum of 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care facility
Ability to work a rotating 5x8 shift (day/evening) starting 09/07/2026
US work authorization
