You'll work around blood, fat, feathers, grease, steam, mud, wastewater, and equipment that runs 24/7. Some mornings you'll leave smelling like the plant—that's just part of the job.
If you can't handle getting dirty, working nights, or fixing equipment under pressure, this probably isn't the job for you.

Schedule
Permanent Night Shift
7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
This position works a rotating two-week schedule:
Week 1
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
Week 2
Built-in overtime and every other weekend off.
What You'll Be Working On
When production goes down, maintenance goes to work.
You'll troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain equipment including:
- Screw conveyors
- Drag conveyors
- Belt conveyors
- Gearboxes
- Pumps
- Electric motors
- Bearings, chains, sprockets, and drives
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Steam systems
- Boilers
- Heat exchangers
- Cookers
- Hydrolyzers
- Fans and blowers
- Electrical controls
- VFDs
- Motor starters
- PLC-controlled equipment
- Process piping and valves
You'll be expected to troubleshoot—not just throw parts at problems.

Experience Preferred
- Industrial maintenance
- Electrical troubleshooting (120V–480V)
- PLC troubleshooting
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Welding and fabrication
- Bearings, motors, pumps, gearboxes
- Conveyor systems
- Steam systems
- Reading electrical and mechanical prints
- Precision alignment
- Rigging
- Preventive maintenance
- Forklift and aerial lift operation
Experience in rendering plants, meat processing, food manufacturing, paper mills, chemical plants, steel mills, sawmills, or other heavy industrial facilities is highly preferred.
Military mechanical or electrical experience is also a plus.
