Full Job Description

Staff Accountant / Accounting Analyst

Position Summary

Dennis Kirk, Inc seeking a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional to join our accounting department. This role will support key accounting operations including month-end reconciliations, vendor payable reconciliations, financial planning and analysis activities, customer account support, annual audit preparation, and assistance with third-party financial software systems.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, customer-service-minded, and comfortable working across multiple accounting and finance functions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform month-end account reconciliations and assist with closing activities
Reconcile vendor payable accounts and resolve discrepancies
Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, budgeting and reporting
Assist with customer account inquiries and account maintenance
Provide support for third-party financial software systems and integrations
Assist with annual audit preparation and auditor requests
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting processes and reporting
Support additional accounting and finance projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
Experience in eCommerce industry and ERP system exposure a plus
4+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
Experience with Sage Intacct Software is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience working with large data-sets preferable

Experience supporting audits and financial reporting
Comfortable learning and supporting accounting software platforms
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
Customer-focused approach when assisting internal and external stakehold

This is a Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm in-office position.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
