Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture is seeking an energetic, self-directed Associate Director of Operations to support the VP of Manufacturing and Enterprise Systems. As a key member of our operations leadership, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant daily operations of the R2S Camden manufacturing site. - Drive a positive organizational culture that emphasizes Safety, Trust, Communication, and Transparency
- Oversee and manage all manufacturing operations, ensuring products are produced on time and to the highest quality standards
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards including ATF, OSHA, DoD, and ADEQ requirements
- Monitor operating expenses and identify cost reduction opportunities associated with manufacturing operations
- Establish performance goals and review performance against defined targets
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and external stakeholders
- Communicate information about new policies and procedures to staff members
- Report operational performance metrics to R2S Leadership Team
- Participate in strategic planning for Facilities Management
- Ensure accurate inventory management and efficient warehousing operations
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of applicable experience in a manufacturing environment
- Active Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting and briefing executive-level leadership
- 5+ years of experience in a Defense Manufacturing environment
