Full Job Description

Job Summary
PINE HILL BOROUGH, Camden County, is seeking individuals for full-time employment for the position of “Maintenance Worker” in the Public Works Department. Tasks Will include, but are not limited to, routine operation and preventative maintenance of various Borough of Pine Hill buildings, ground equipment, and streets. The operation of equipment, i.e., street sweepers, tractors, front end loaders, back hoes, graders, etc. The operating of diverse types of solid waste collection trucks, i.e., Automated Waste/Recycling vehicles designed to lift waste/recycling containers, Rear Loading Waste/Recycling vehicles designed to compact bulk that is manually loaded into the rear container area. The continuous and strenuous physical effort demanded in walking, bending, standing, and lifting or carrying equipment, tools and materials while performing duties under varying weather conditions. The ability to drive trucks of varying weight and size and operate various equipment both hand and motorized.

A valid New Jersey, CDL- “A” license, and Medical Card is required

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including logic controllers and electrical components.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

Job Type: Full-time
