Job Details

The Director of Enrollment Reporting & Analytics is a key member of Enrollment Management’s Enrollment Technology & Data Analytics team and will play a lead role in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data in order to inform strategic decision making. The Director will work closely with the AVP for Enrollment Technology & Data Analytics to develop and implement reporting and analytic priorities for the division.

Job Description

Essential Functions

Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
Design, execute, and maintain customized reports tailored to the needs of stakeholders using Enrollment Management’s relational database Slate and other reporting and analytics platforms such as Argos, SPSS, Tableau, Python etc.
Utilize tools such as Tableau and Excel to develop dashboards, tables, and visualizations of data to support decision making and reporting of KPIs.

Draw on external data sources to enhance enrollment intelligence and contextualize Jefferson’s data.

Review reports for accuracy, with a high-level attention to detail.

Clean, transform, and integrate data as required to deliver information.

Produce high level analyses, present key findings and insights, and communicate conclusions and recommendations both verbally and in writing.

Develop and implement a plan for report maintenance, improvement, and enhancement.

Monitor the workflow of reports and information requests; delegate tasks as appropriate reviewing work to ensure accuracy.

Provide leadership and feedback regarding data reporting and analysis agenda for Enrollment Management.

Interface with key stakeholders and external strategy partners to optimize contracted services.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):

In-depth of knowledge and experience using institutional platforms and reporting tools including Slate, Banner, Tableau, Excel, SPSS, Python.
Demonstrated experience querying, processing, transforming, analyzing and reporting on large data sets.
Knowledge of enrollment management functions, trends, challenges, business processes, and KPIs.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.

AND

Experience:

Seven years of relevant experience in higher education enrollment management and/or an analytics field. Experience in reporting, data analysis, statistics required.
