Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our hotel. In this role, you will handle guest check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and provide exceptional customer support. Your energetic approach will ensure every guest feels valued and appreciated from the moment they arrive until their departure. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using efficient computer systems.
Manage reservations accurately through booking software and maintain up-to-date availability records.
Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, confirm bookings, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay.
Maintain organized front desk area, including filing, data entry, and updating spreadsheets for operational records.
Support office management tasks such as calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with other departments.
Use office productivity software like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for administrative tasks and record keeping.

Experience

Prior office or hospitality experience is preferred, especially in roles involving front desk or administrative support.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional customer service skills with effective phone communication and phone etiquette.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse guest needs.
Experience with multi-line phone systems, office management, or bookkeeping is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to handle clerical tasks such as proofreading, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
