We’re looking for a Machine Operator to join our dedicated production team. This hands-on role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll work with a variety of production equipment, including SMT Pick & Place machines, Through-Hole Insertion, Sequencers, Wave Solder, and Reflow systems.

This position follows a consistent Monday–Wednesday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM schedule. You will work three 12-hour shifts and have four consecutive days off each week, giving you more time for family, hobbies, appointments, rest, or whatever matters most to you.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and placement level.
Level and Pay Placement: Candidates may be hired at Level I, II, or III. The hourly range shown covers all three levels. Starting pay will be based on placement level, directly related experience, technical training, demonstrated equipment proficiency, and internal equity. Candidates do not need to select a level when applying.
Key Responsibilities
- Read job specifications and assembly instructions to determine machine settings, adjustments, and material requirements.
- Set up, run, and monitor assigned equipment according to documented specifications and the expectations of your placement level.
- Identify product defects, process issues, or equipment malfunctions.
- Correct issues within your training and authority or route defective material for rework or repair.
- Perform required machine maintenance and complete accurate production or system transactions.
- Follow quality and workmanship requirements while meeting efficiency and utilization standards.
- Participate in Lean and continuous-improvement activities and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Communicate clearly, adapt to change, and work as a positive and dependable team member.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Machine Operator Levels
Level I – Developing Operator
Operates and sets up equipment using documented specifications, monitors machine performance, identifies defects or malfunctions, performs minor documented maintenance, and corrects or routes defects appropriately.
Typical qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and three to six months of related experience.
Level II – Experienced Operator
Works more independently and performs daily and weekly maintenance, corrects machine errors, completes online troubleshooting and programming, and consistently works toward established quality, efficiency, and utilization standards.
Typical qualifications include a one-year technical certificate or two years of related equipment operation or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Level III – Advanced Operator
Performs advanced equipment setup, program loading, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Helps determine or create fixtures needed to produce quality products and may perform selected Team Leader duties or serve as a backup Team Leader.
Typical qualifications include a two-year technical certificate or four years of related equipment operation or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Qualifications
- Education, training, and directly related experience appropriate to the level requirements listed above
- Basic computer proficiency, including accessing work instructions, completing data-entry transactions, using email and employee self-service systems, and completing online training
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read and understand basic performance graphs
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English for workplace communication and comprehension of work instructions and quality documentation
- Ability to evaluate product quality against written requirements
- Ability to successfully complete required component-identification and IPC workmanship training or examinations
- Depending on the assignment, ability to use a respirator after receiving the required medical clearance
- Reliable onsite attendance; this work must be performed at the facility
