Full Job Description

The Bug-O Systems’ Inside Sales Representative position is a customer service role that requires selling or introducing Bug-O Products to new and existing customers in close conjunction with our outside sales representatives and Distributors. Customer interfacing duties include: request for quotations, lead times, order placement, expediting, the building of quotations, order processing and communicating pertinent information proactively back to customers and our sales representatives. Additionally, this position handles the communication between Bug-O and all potential customers.

Core Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Rep include:

 Receive and process orders by phone, fax, and email and check for accuracy for both domestic and international

customers.

 Create quotes based on customer, REP and Sales Management requirements.

 Follow up on orders with past due dates and or customer requests.

 Work with REPs when requesting pricing, demo equipment transfers and have need to create quotes and orders.

 Answer customer questions, concerns, problems and product capabilities.

 Recommend new systems based on customer needs.

 Identify and troubleshoot customer problems by using instruction and parts manuals.

 Coordinate with production on customer requests for special delivery and requests.

 Maintain a high attention to detail and organization to ensure pricing and quantity accuracy.

 Prepare invoices, packing lists and any additional certificates needed.

 Schedule, obtain rates and track shipments for orders.

 Proactively suggest new and improved ways to make the sales department function smoothly and efficiently.

 Continually build BUG-O product knowledge.

 Basic computer software skills and experience using an ERP is a plus.

 2 + years of inside sales / customer service experience.

 Excellent time management skills with high energy – a self-starter.

 Problem solving and creative thinking skills.

 Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.

 Able to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment with a very positive attitude.

 Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

 Basic knowledge of welding products and application is a plus.

 Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Education requirement:

 BA/BS degree preferred but applicable experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.

Additional skills/knowledge:

 Basic computer software skills and experience using an ERP is a plus.

 2 + years of inside sales / customer service experience.
