Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production, food service management, and catering activities
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet dietary requirements
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence and continuous improvement
Manage inventory control and food cost analysis to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste
Ensure compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures, health regulations, and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas
Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff effectively to meet service demands while maintaining high standards of quality
Lead training initiatives on food handling, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety

Requirements

Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong background in food production, catering, and restaurant management
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced settings
Extensive knowledge of food safety practices, sanitizing procedures, and dietary department standards
Skilled in menu planning, inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems
Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations
