Full Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Responsible for being a TEAM Leader within the scope of all Banquets and Grill Room Dining occurring in the Club while working with all front-of-the-house employees in providing the highest level of service according to Club standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Maintain Service Standards and Mandatory Standards of Operation as outlined in the Club Training Program. * Assist Banquet operation in helping organize and lead the Banquet Employees for maximum efficiency during all phases of the event(s)- Set-Up, Service, Breakdown, and Reset. * Comprehensive food and beverage knowledge as it applies to Banquet Event Orders and A la Carte Grille Room menus. * Execute Member/Guest service and food & beverage orders attentive and timely. * Assist in the on-the-floor development of all newly hired A la Carte and Banquet Personnel. * Work with staff setting the Grill Room/Patio and all private rooms in accordance with the Banquet Event Order to ensure Member readiness. * Foster a TEAMWORK attitude and energy among all Service Staff at all times. * Assist in Banquet billing and ensure all is correct before submitting. * Execute Service Recovery with diplomacy and with a sense of urgency when the situation arises. * Keep Member and Guest safety at the forefront when serving alcoholic beverages, exercising the Club’s Alcohol Management Policy. * Project a professional appearance, wear a clean uniform / practice proper grooming. * Attend regular Private Event Meetings when here & Service/Supervisor Meetings as instructed.
* Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hotel industry.
* Proficiency in bartending, customer service, and food service management.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively * Familiarity with restaurant operations software is a plus.
