Atlanta Eye Group is searching for a dynamic, high-energy people-person to join our eye-catching team as an Optometric Technician / Paraoptometric! If you're passionate about helping others see the world in a whole new light and want to serve as a vital link between our patients and doctors, this is your chance to shine.

What You'll Do:

Unleash your inner superhero by conducting essential clinical pre-testing, including visual fields, retinal imaging, and auto-refraction.
Become a wizard of advanced optometric equipment and work your magic running high-tech OCT scans(Optical Coherence Tomography) and hands-on specialized dry eye therapies like NuLids.
Be the clinical co-pilot by navigating our digital systems to efficiently document detailed medical histories, chief complaints, and medications directly into our state-of-the-art EHR software.
Be the friendly face that welcomes patients, manages contact lens coordination (including teaching rock-star hygiene and handling), and makes everyone feel at home.
Assist our optometry rock stars by optimizing daily clinical flow and maintaining pristine, fully-stocked exam environments.
Keep our practice running smoothly like a well-oiled machine by occasionally flexing your administrative muscles at the front desk when needed.

What You'll Need:

A love for all things eyes and vision, with a strong desire to master advanced technical and clinical medical skills.
Solid Computer Skills: You should be tech-savvy, comfortable learning new software, and able to type and navigate electronic health records (EHR) smoothly and accurately.
A knack for building relationships, keeping your cool in a fast-paced environment, and making people smile.
An All-Star drive: Prior experience in optometry is a major plus, but it's not required—we are eager to train the right tech-fluent person on all our specialized equipment! Holding a Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) or National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) designation—or a strong willingness to earn them with our support—is highly valued.
Flexibility & Mobility: Ability to drive to our Perimeter Mall, Lenox Mall, and Alpharetta locations.
Our All-Star Dealbreaker: Because our clinics are open when our patients need us most, weekend availability is a strict requirement for this role. If you are unable to work weekend rotations, this won't be the right fit for you!
