Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Oral Surgery Department Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations within our specialized oral surgery practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare management, medical office administration, and team supervision. As the Assistant Manager, you will ensure the seamless functioning of clinical and administrative processes, uphold compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes exceptional patient care. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence and supporting the growth of our oral surgery services.

**REQUIRED TRAVEL BETWEEN LOCATIONS- Johns Creek, Cumming, and Milton

Duties

Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, treatment coordination, and staff workflows to optimize efficiency.
Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and reporting to ensure proper management of the department.
Manage human resources functions including staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
Utilize Denticon systems for accurate medical records management and patient data security.
Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain high standards of patient care, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.
Support practice management initiatives by implementing process improvements and enhancing patient service delivery.
Foster a positive team environment through effective managerial communication and leadership that encourages professional development.

Requirements

Proven experience in healthcare practice management with a focus on dental or oral surgery clinics..
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing healthcare teams within a clinical setting.
Proficiency in Denticon and Microsoft Office Suite for administrative reporting and communication purposes.
Experience with dental billing, financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation in a healthcare environment.
Excellent organizational skills coupled with strong managerial communication abilities.
Background in dental office or surgical clinic environments with acute care or hospital experience is preferred.
