Physical Therapist FULL TIME

Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist passionate about making a difference in your clients' lives? We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to work in our CARF accredited Outpatient Brain Injury Rehabilitation program. Our treatments address cognitive/linguistic, physical, functional, and behavioral deficits that inhibit patients from successfully transitioning back into their homes and communities.

Position: Physical Therapist
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8:00-5:00pm for FT
Location: in clinic Waltham, MA

About the Role:

As a full-time team member (32+ hours per week) you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by joining our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals specializing in neurological care.

Candidates for this role should be able to:

Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills in physical therapy, follows best practices and company policies and protocols
Perform clinical evaluations, treatments, and discharges. Knowledge and experience administering outcomes measurements preferred
Complete all clinical documentation per practice standards, follows HIPAA and documentation compliance standards
Integrate patient education and discharge planning into the treatment process, including goals, expectations, and potential limitations
Engage clients in respectful, safe, meaningful, age appropriate, functional goal directed therapy activities
Effectively communicate and collaborate with the clinical team (PT, OT, SLP) regarding client status, changes, progress, and recommendations
Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all aspects of work

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Valid Massachusetts License
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
1-2+ years of experience working with neuro rehab preferred. Candidates with NCS highly preferred
Candidate must have a vehicle or way to travel within the community
Those with a strong interest in neurorehabilitation and a desire to grow in the field are encouraged to apply, even if prior experience is limited

A multidisciplinary team approach to rehab treatment of individuals living with brain injuries-Work closely with a small team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Students!
We have Certified Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS), Neurologic Clinical Specialists (NCS), and LSVT Certified therapists on staff
Routine collaboration with medical professionals in the neuro field (i.e. monthly rounds with leading neurologists, physiatrists, etc.)
