Position Summary

Licensed clinician who wants more than just a traditional therapy role.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is motivated to build meaningful partnerships, grow services within the community, and take the lead in shaping the future of mental health services for Pathway Caring for Children in North Olmsted and surrounding areas, including eastern Lorain County.

This role blends direct clinical work with leadership, relationship-building, outreach, and program development responsibilities. Core Responsibilities

Program Ownership & Growth

Take an active role in building and sustaining services in North Olmsted and surrounding communities
Support growth efforts into Lorain County through outreach, visibility, and community engagement
Develop and maintain referral relationships with schools, healthcare providers, community partners, and local organizations
Monitor caseload trends, access to care, and client engagement while proactively addressing service gaps
Identify opportunities for service expansion and bring forward practical, actionable ideas

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral health field
Active Ohio licensure required (LISW, LPCC, Supervisory designation or willingness to obtain with agency support)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in community-based or school-based behavioral health
Strong networking, outreach, and community relationship-building skills
Experience mentoring, supporting, or informally leading other clinicians
Interest in program development, service expansion, and leadership growth
Knowledge of trauma-informed care and community mental health systems
