As an experienced Polisher, you’ll play a vital part in helping produce and inspect extruder screws. The ideal candidate will ensure that screws are polished and finished to our highest standard of quality.
This role reports directly to the Operations Manager.

OD grind, straighten, root grind, and final polish (color buff) screw.

Evaluate feed screws for rework. Describe work scope and submit to estimating.

Inspect finished workpieces for defects and inconsistencies.

Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy.

Follow safety rules and procedures at all times.

High school diploma or GED.

Ability to learn to read blueprints.

High attention to detail.

Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in polishing and grinding.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move materials.

Basic math skills.

Salary is based on experience. On-the-job training will be provided.
