Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with at least 5 years of metal fabrication experience in a job shop setting, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication processes, stick, tig, flux core/mig, and plasma cutting. You will work primarily in our shop, fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW techniques on various materials, including Stainless and aluminum.
Utilize plasma cutting equipment to shape and prepare metal components for assembly.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Measure and cut materials accurately using tools such as micrometers and other measuring devices.
Assemble metal structures and components, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience as a welder or fabricator in a construction or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding techniques and plasma cutting operations.
Familiarity with reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while taking initiative when needed.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed.
