Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Residential House Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a senior care residence. This vital role involves managing care delivery, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment for residents. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in long-term care settings, strong leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Experience in caregiving, residential care, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Ability to safely assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.

General Information

Position: Full-Time House Manager

Work Schedule: The House Manager will generally work three (3) 12-hour shifts per week, totaling approximately 36 scheduled hours per week. Shifts may be scheduled Sunday through Saturday based on resident care, staffing, and operational needs.

Additional hours or on-call responsibilities may occasionally be required to support the needs of the home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential care home and help ensure residents receive consistent, quality care.
Supervise, support, and provide direction to caregivers while reinforcing company policies, procedures, and expectations.
Assist with coordinating staff schedules and coverage to support the needs of the home.
Monitor resident care, required documentation, caregiver responsibilities, and the overall condition of the home.
Communicate with Ownership and, as appropriate, residents' families, hospice providers, home health agencies, and other healthcare professionals regarding resident care and operational needs.
Address routine operational concerns, respond appropriately to emergencies, and participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
Maintain a safe, clean, respectful, and welcoming home environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Provide direct resident care as needed, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and other routine care needs within the scope of the position.
Assist Ownership with administrative and operational responsibilities that support the effective operation of the home.
Promptly communicate significant resident, staffing, safety, or operational concerns to Ownership.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability.
Ability to work independently while recognizing when matters require involvement or approval from Ownership.
Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care and a positive home environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and activities of daily living.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to respond quickly and appropriately during emergencies.
