Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating and communicating with Administration, physicians, management, staff, and external agencies to facilitate department and hospital strategic goals; generating reports and tracking compliance according to the director's requirements; and providing administrative and clerical support to department Directors.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

Ability to exercise good judgment
Ability to prioritize management of activities, and provide continuity in internal/external communications
Strong interpersonal communication
Typing speed of at least 60 wpm.
Proficient in PC software including but not limited to Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).

Licensure and Certification:

Education:

High School Diploma (GED) required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Two to three years experience performing administrative and secretarial support to members of healthcare management team. Professional demeanor.
