Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic/ Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in various settings. The Paramedic/EMT will be responsible for assessing patient conditions and administering appropriate treatments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients to assess their medical conditions.
Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infections during patient care.
Perform triage to prioritize patient treatment based on the severity of their condition.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Provide basic life support (BLS) in emergency situations, including CPR and first aid.
Manage durable medical equipment (DME) as necessary for patient care.
Deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate interventions.

Skills

Proficient in physical examinations and patient assessment techniques.
Knowledgeable in aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
Strong triage skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
Experience with medication administration protocols and monitoring.
Certified in basic life support (BLS) with a solid understanding of emergency response procedures.
Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) operations and maintenance.
Excellent understanding of medical terminology for effective communication within healthcare teams.
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards patients.
