Full Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for management of all phases of office operations for a multiple physician practice.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and coordinate staff schedules to ensure the office is appropriately and efficiently staffed.
Manage all practice personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, ongoing performance feedback, and annual evaluations. Address employee concerns and recommend personnel actions when needed.
Handle the purchasing of equipment and supplies needed for daily operations and manage building maintenance needs.
Oversee payroll processes.
Ensure that office procedures support high-quality patient care; develop and maintain systems that enhance customer service and patient satisfaction.
Act as a communication link between physicians, providers, staff, and leadership. Share information regularly through huddles, meetings, emails, and other appropriate channels.
Lead initiatives that support quality improvement and performance enhancement within the practice.
Ensure clinical and administrative staff follow established workflows and documentation standards; implement updated processes as needed.
Serve as the connection between clinicians, coding staff, and billing services to support accurate claims and proper reimbursement.
Maintain a working knowledge of HIPAA and compliance guidelines and ensure practice-wide adherence.
Oversee management of patient and medical records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and recognized documentation standards.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

· Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in fast-paced environments such as hospitals or clinics.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternatively, at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a medical setting.

· Proficiency with modern office technology and computer applications, including EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

· Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Pay Range Details: The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
