Accounts Receivable & Payables Accountant

Property Management Company – Fort Myers, FL

We are a friendly, team-oriented property management company located in Fort Myers, Florida, and we’re looking for an Accounts Receivable & Payables Accountant to join our growing office team. If you enjoy working collaboratively, take pride in accuracy, and have experience in property management accounting, we’d love to meet you.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be an important part of our accounting team, helping keep our financial operations running smoothly across multiple properties. You’ll work closely with colleagues, vendors, and tenants while handling day-to-day AR and AP responsibilities. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently while still being a strong team player.

What You’ll Do

Manage accounts receivable, including posting tenant payments and tracking rent balances
Handle accounts payable by processing vendor invoices, coding expenses, and issuing payments
Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing tasks
Maintain accurate financial records for multiple managed properties
Prepare and review basic financial and AR/AP reports
Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and internal team members
Use QuickBooks and Microsoft tools daily to support accounting and collaboration

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years of accounting experience in property management (required)
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Microsoft Teams
A self-starter who is dependable and detail-oriented
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team environment

Schedule & Location

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
In-office position in Fort Myers, FL
