Lifestyle & Events Coordinator
TerraWalk at Babcock Ranch | Punta Gorda, FL

We are assisting the hiring management company in recruiting a Lifestyle & Events Coordinator for TerraWalk at Babcock Ranch, a private residential community designed around connection, hospitality, and an active community lifestyle.

At TerraWalk, lifestyle is more than a calendar of events. It is how residents meet their neighbors, build relationships, celebrate together, and feel truly at home.

We are seeking a positive, energetic, highly organized hospitality professional who can help support and execute meaningful community events and resident experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong coordinator, executor, relationship builder, and community connector who can listen well, organize details, partner effectively, and help bring approved ideas to life with excellence.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being visible in the community, engaging with residents, coordinating behind-the-scenes details, and supporting events that feel thoughtful, welcoming, and well executed.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support a full calendar of lifestyle events, programs, and resident experiences
Assist with concerts, movie nights, fitness and wellness activities, special interest groups, social gatherings, seasonal events, and community celebrations
Serve as a warm, professional, and enthusiastic presence at events, helping residents feel welcomed, included, and connected
Partner closely with The Porch Bar & Grille team to support food and beverage needs for events and programs
Prepare and coordinate professional Banquet Event Orders, menus, buffet setups, timelines, and event details
Help ensure events are thoughtfully organized, operationally prepared, and financially responsible
Work closely with the resident Social Committee to understand ideas, organize details, and support programs aligned with community goals
Utilize TerraWalk’s community amenities with care, creativity, and precision to support exceptional resident experiences
Listen to resident feedback and concerns with professionalism, then share insight with the appropriate team members for follow-up
Communicate clearly with community leadership, vendors, residents, committees, and internal teams
Support event setup, breakdown, logistics, vendor coordination, supplies, registration, promotion, and day-of execution
Represent TerraWalk and the community with warmth, professionalism, discretion, and integrity

Qualifications

Lifestyle, event coordination, hospitality, recreation, food and beverage, or community programming experience
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple event details and deadlines
Comfortable speaking with residents, welcoming guests, making announcements, and being visible at community events
Ability to work well with committees, residents, vendors, food and beverage teams, and community leadership
Experience preparing or working with Banquet Event Orders, event menus, buffet setups, and event timelines preferred
Understanding of basic event budgeting, cost awareness, and operational follow-through preferred
Positive, calm, service-centered communication style
Strong follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to execute with excellence
Comfortable working in a private, resident-focused community environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event and community needs

Preferred Experience

Lifestyle, activities, or events coordination
Community association, private club, resort, hotel, or amenity-based community programming
Event planning support, banquets, catering, or food and beverage event service
Resident engagement, hospitality, recreation, or social programming
Working with committees, volunteers, vendors, and cross-functional teams

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the General Manager and works in alignment with the direction of the TerraWalk Homeowners Association Board of Directors.
