PRIVATE CHEF WANTED – PRIVATE FAMILY | CAPE CORAL, FL
We are a busy family in Cape Coral, Florida seeking an experienced, reliable, and personable Private Chef to prepare fresh, high-quality meals in our home on a recurring daily basis.
This is a long-term position for the right person. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves cooking, is creative with menus, and can become comfortable with our family’s individual tastes and preferences.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The chef will prepare fresh brunch and dinner daily for our family.
We are looking for delicious, fresh, family-style meals—not overly formal fine dining every day. We enjoy variety and want someone who can prepare everything from healthy, high-protein meals to comfort food, Italian, steak and seafood, fresh salads, brunch favorites, and kid-friendly options.
We want a chef who will take the time to learn what each member of our family enjoys and create menus around our preferences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare fresh brunch and dinner in our Cape Coral home
- Create and coordinate weekly menus with the family
- Grocery shop and source fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Accommodate individual preferences and special meal requests
- Prepare healthy and high-protein options when requested
- Prepare family-friendly and kid-friendly meals
- Maintain kitchen and pantry inventory
- Properly store and organize food and ingredients
- Keep the kitchen and cooking areas clean and organized
- Occasionally prepare meals for family guests or small gatherings
- Adapt to reasonable changes in our family’s schedule
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in private-chef, personal-chef, or high-quality culinary work
- Creative and confident preparing a wide variety of cuisines
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Friendly and comfortable working in a family home
- Professional and respectful of household privacy
- Flexible and easy to communicate with
- Knowledgeable about food safety and proper food handling
- Able to provide professional references
Private household experience is strongly preferred.
SCHEDULE
Recurring daily schedule.
Brunch and dinner preparation required.
Exact days and hours can be discussed based on the chef’s availability and our family’s schedule. We are open to discussing a 5-, 6-, or 7-day-per-week arrangement with the right candidate.
This is a live-out position in Cape Coral, Florida.
COMPENSATION
Competitive compensation based on experience, schedule, and responsibilities.
We are willing to pay appropriately for the right person and are looking for a consistent, long-term fit for our family.
