Hours: Full-time & Part-time, including weekends and some holidays

Happy Baby Boutique-

Happy Baby is a baby and children’s retail Boutique focusing on offering unique and excellent quality clothing, accessories and baby supplies while providing exceptional customer experiences and service.

Job Responsibility

As a retail sales associate, you will be an important face of Happy Baby engaging with customers to provide a positive shopping experience. Happy Baby is a fast and fun paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

Welcoming customers into the Boutique and offering product information, and assisting them in all purchases.
Understanding and promoting current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product areas meets our merchandising standards.
Answering customer inquiries regarding products and providing knowledgeable and helpful responses.
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing payments, handling returns, and managing customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
Assisting in inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, conducting stock counts, and reporting low stock or product discrepancies to management.
Supporting loss prevention efforts by monitoring the sales floor, reporting suspicious activity, and following security policies.
Ensuring that daily tasks align with store goals and standards.

Required Skills

Must-have:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and other staff.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
Basic math skills for transactions.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift at least 50 pounds for extended periods, in alignment with the physical demands of retail work.

Nice-to-have:

Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
Familiarity with POS systems and other retail technology.
An interest in Children’s fashion to better connect with our customers.
