Full Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Is responsible for processing accounts receivable invoices and payments. Cross trains in order to perform duties related to accounts receivable functions when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviews Bank Statements and processes accounts receivable receipts for deposits on a daily basis.
Attach BOLs to invoices for Beverage State Reporting Audits. Boxes up each month
Reviews A/R accounts on a weekly basis and assists Office Supervisor in collecting, write offs, and account clean up.
DNC reporting.
Assist in NSF and Return Payment collections.
7 Eleven Reporting of Aged Items.
Back up for settlement clerk.
Handles customer returned items. Contacting accounts, accepting payments, and state reporting.
Processes prepaid statements on a monthly basis.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Performs miscellaneous administrative duties, such as typing file labels and invoice copies, responding to customer and driver phone calls, etc.
2. Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by Office Supervisor or Accounting Manager

Possesses knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Able to perform detailed work with numerical data and to make arithmetic computation quickly and accurately.
Intermediate computer skills, including Excel.
Able to adeptly use a 10-key.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Some college accounting courses preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ accounting experience desired.

Working Conditions:

Office environment.
