Full Job Description

We are looking for a standout Estimator/Project manager to work closely with our general contractor customers to understand their needs, identify potential solutions, and to close deals. In addition, after the job is sold, this person will work with the customer and install team to ensure a seamless transition and to facilitate project progression to completion.

If you have excellent communication skills and have experience in the HVAC and/or plumbing industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Actively seek out new opportunities through existing relationships, incoming calls, and networking
Meet with clients and listen to their needs and concerns
Prepare written estimates based on plans
Request clarifications on plan details to ensure high quality proposals
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
Project manage the jobs sold to ensure materials are ordered correctly, questions are answered, and follow up as needed
Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

Skills

Proven experience as an estimator and/or project manager
2+ years experience in the plumbing and HVAC industry (preferred, but not required)
Proficiency in English
Excellent knowledge of MS Office or Google Suite
Fast learner and passion for estimating and the HVAC/plumbing industries
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
