Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and assign daily maintenance work to minimize downtime, overtime, and emergency call-ins.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff to support professional growth and high performance.
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all facility equipment and systems.
- Coordinate and oversee work performed by third-party vendors and contractors.
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets; obtain cost estimates and quotes as needed.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environments in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Oversee the ordering, tracking, and inventory of maintenance parts and MRO supplies.
- Provide hands-on support and training to technicians as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.
- Enter and manage maintenance activities in Leading2Lean; verify accurate completion and closure of work orders.
- Identify, issue, and track parts for maintenance technicians from the storeroom.
- Coordinate with the receiving department to inspect and verify maintenance deliveries.
- Support Hanon Systems’ Integrated Management System and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current on new technologies and maintenance best practices through training and technical resources.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems (e.g., Leading2Lean).
- Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
- Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Initiative and leadership mindset.
- Results-oriented with a focus on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements
- Full-time position; schedule may vary with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift or move objects weighing 50+ pounds.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, airborne particles, and varying weather conditions.
- Must adhere to all company safety, health, and environmental regulations.
