Full Job Description

A well-established, family-owned transportation and logistics company with more than 50 years of success is looking for a dependable Senior Accountant who enjoys variety, thrives in a hands-on environment, and wants to build a long-term career with a stable organization. Oh, and it's 40 hours a week. That's right, no 60+ hour month end close.

What You'll Do

Perform month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Prepare financial reports and maintain the general ledger across multiple entities
Process intercompany transactions and bank reconciliations
Assist with payroll and payroll tax activities
Partner with the CFO and accounting team to improve processes and support daily financial operations
Utilize Excel and TruckMate/Trimble ERP to analyze and report financial data

What We're Looking For

3+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
Experience with payroll and payroll tax is a plus
Advanced Excel skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and looking for a long-term opportunity
Transportation, logistics, or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus
