Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and experienced in maintaining accurate financial records while working independently.

Duties and Responsibilities

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements.
Process invoices, payments, and customer receipts.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Process payroll.
Monitor cash flow and identify discrepancies.
Organize financial records and ensure compliance with state and federal reporting.
Assist with budgeting and expense tracking.
Work with the company's accountant to prepare documentation for tax filings and audits.

Experience

Previous bookkeeping experience, prefered but not required.
Proficiency in QuickBooks prefered, but we are able to train.
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Schedule

Part-time position.
Flexible hours based on business needs.
