Full Job Description

Registered Nurse leader sought for the Director of Nursing (DON, DNS) role at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in western Illinois just an hour northeast of St Louis, MO.

This property is on the upswing! Positive progress is already being made toward improving clinical outcomes. We hope to identify a top tier RN with a track record of success developing teams in long-term care and skilled nursing facility settings.

At this SNF you will be well supported! The Nursing Home Administrator (who is also a nurse) deeply appreciates the needs of the clinical team and will have your back as DON here. You will also enjoy collaborating with a talented ADON and with Regional Clinical leaders who will give you the dedication you deserve as you launch in this new DON job.

Ideal candidates will enjoy:

Strong pay in the $100K to $120K range, with the top end being reserved for those with stable tenure in prior jobs and a track record of measurable success in improving clinical outcomes, compliance, staff retention and resident satisfaction.
$10K sign-on bonus

Ideal candidates will bring:

Registered Nurse license in Illinois or Compact RN license
Stable tenure in previous jobs
Experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility (DON in SNF)
Track record of measurable successes, like improving survey results year-over-year, increasing CMS Star ratings, reducing Agency/ stabilizing staffing, improving care outcomes and resident satisfaction related to care
Strong interest in seeing seniors well cared for and mentoring your team to ensure they also understand the value of doing this work correctly
