About Fantasy Fright
Fantasy Fright is a new immersive dark-fantasy Halloween experience featuring large scenic environments, animatronic creatures, theatrical lighting, original music, live characters, and interactive storytelling throughout a corn maze.
We are hiring energetic, reliable seasonal team members to help operate the attraction and create a memorable guest experience throughout the fall season.
Position Overview
Seasonal staff will work throughout Fantasy Fright assisting with guest interaction, attraction operations, crowd flow, retail, exhibit monitoring, and general event support.
This is a themed attraction, and most guest-facing positions will require wearing a provided costume or themed wardrobe while working. You do not need to be a professional actor, but you should be comfortable interacting with guests and helping maintain the atmosphere of the event.
Depending on experience and interest, team members may be assigned to character, atmospheric, retail, operations, queue, exhibit, or guest-service positions.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and interact with guests throughout the attraction
- Wear assigned Fantasy Fright costume/themed wardrobe while working
- Help maintain an immersive, in-character atmosphere when assigned to themed areas
- Assist with guest flow, queues, entrances, exits, and exhibit areas
- Monitor scenic displays, animatronics, lighting, props, digital displays, and other attraction elements
- Report technical, maintenance, or safety concerns to event management
- Assist with merchandise, ticketing, photo opportunities, or retail operations as needed
- Help with opening and closing procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready work areas
- Support other event staff as needed during busy periods
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly, energetic, and comfortable interacting with the public
- Comfortable wearing a costume or themed wardrobe during shifts
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and Halloween-season hours
- Comfortable working outdoors and standing/walking for extended periods
- Able to lift approximately 25 lbs when needed
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
Experience in customer service, themed entertainment, acting, improv, Renaissance faire, cosplay, theme parks, retail, events, hospitality, or live entertainment is helpful but not required.
