The Opportunity
We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior CAD Draftsperson to create clear, accurate construction documents for high-end outdoor living spaces. You'll work closely with our design, sales, and construction teams to transform approved concepts into precise, buildable drawing sets that bring each project to life.
Whether you're early in your career or ready to take the next step, this role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, work on exciting residential projects, and build a strong foundation in residential landscape construction documentation.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with the design team to transform approved concepts and 3D models into complete 2D construction documents.
Produce accurate construction drawings using AutoCAD.
Create detailed layout plans, grading plans, lighting plans, planting plans, material schedules, and construction details.
Prepare pool layouts, elevations, and construction details for field installation.
Develop HOA submittal plans that meet individual community requirements.
Revise and update drawing sets throughout the design and construction process
Coordinate with the design, sales, and construction teams to ensure drawings are accurate, organized, and ready for construction.
What You Bring
Degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field.
1–3 years of professional drafting experience in residential landscape, pool, or construction projects preferred. Recent graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Experience with Structure Studios (VIP3D), SketchUp, Land F/X, or similar software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce organized, accurate construction documents.
Understanding of construction methods and how drawings translate into the field, or the curiosity and initiative to develop that knowledge through mentorship and collaboration.
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and pride in producing high-quality work.
Ability to receive feedback, ask questions, and continuously improve technical skills.
