Full Job Description

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Medical Lab Tech to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience in a healthcare setting. If you're ready to assist in life-changing procedures while traveling the country, this is your opportunity!

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital lab experience
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Graduate of an accredited Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technician program
ASCP or AMT certification preferred (required at some facilities)
Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a lab tech in the state of employment required.
Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

Proficient in sample collection, testing, and analysis across various departments (chemistry, hematology, etc.)
Familiarity with lab information systems (LIS)
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
