Frontier Dental Lab at Eldorado Hills is a proud member of Denbright Dental Labs, is a full-service dental lab creating beautiful restorations for dentists across the globe, and we are looking for an experienced Digital Dental Lab Technician to join our growing team.

At Frontier Dental Lab, we harness advanced digital dental technology to deliver precise, high-quality restorations that dental professionals can rely on. Specializing in cosmetic dental lab services, we partner with dentists to create custom crowns, veneers, and aesthetic restorations tailored to each patient’s needs.

With state-of-the-art facilities in Sacramento, CA; El Dorado Hills, CA; and Vancouver, BC, Frontier Dental Lab provides a full spectrum of dental lab services, including expertly crafted dental implants known for their precision and durability. Our high-quality dental prosthetics are meticulously designed to ensure functionality and aesthetic appeal.

As a Digital Dental Lab Technician, you will be responsible to help run the day-to-day operations of the Digital department, ensuring the efficient use of technology and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Help direct daily operations of the digital department to ensure efficient, on-time production of digital products
Help troubleshoot and increase utilization of CAD/CAM software and equipment, 3D printers, and milling machines
Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and ensure timely product delivery
Oversee quality control of all CAD/CAM-designed restorations, ensuring precision, accuracy, and fit
Help train and mentor lab staff on CAD/CAM technologies, promoting continuous learning and skill development
Identify and implement workflow and process improvements to boost departmental efficiency and productivity
Perform other related duties and projects at the direction of management

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Technical Expertise: Proficient in CAD/CAM software and digital workflows, with hands-on experience
Equipment Proficiency: Practical experience operating 3D printers and milling machines
Team Building Ability: Proven capability to motivate team members to consistently deliver high-quality work
Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on precision and accuracy in digital design and production
Problem Solver: Confident in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues related to CAD/CAM systems
Strong Communicator: Collaborating across departments, and engaging with clients when needed

Requirements:

High level organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment consistently meet deadlines
Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner
Strong technology skills and the ability to leverage technology in work processes
Knowledge of principles, procedures and best practices in the industry

Physical Requirements

Sitting and standing - Particularly for sustained periods of time
Bending - Particularly for sustained periods of time
Lift/Push/Carry - Must be able to lift, push, and carry up to 15 lbs.
Vision - The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
Able to use hand tools with manual dexterity

Schedule

Full-time position

Monday – Friday

8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay & Benefits

$20 -25 per hour depending on experience
