Full Job Description

Wag Hotels is the ultimate boarding and daycare resort for dogs and cats — a one-stop shop for boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and all your other pet spoiling needs. Our state-of-the-art facilities use a science-based approach in all Eco-friendly cleaning and sanitizing protocols, and our professionally trained staff provides a fun and safe environment for all our four-legged guests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Our mission is to provide the highest level of fun, safety, and comfort to our canine and feline guests, as well as world-class service and convenience to our pet parents!

We are seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join our professional team!! As a Reservation Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting our clients through a seamless reservation process from start to finish. This includes speaking with new clients, processing reservation requests, collecting and inputting vaccination records and new client paperwork, and various other follow-up and audit procedures. Heavy focus will be on answering incoming phone calls on or multi-line phone system assisting clients efficiently and professionally. This position is based in West Sacramento but is responsible for providing support to all Wag Hotel locations.

Reservation Specialists play a significant role in providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for personable individuals that can multitask in a fast-paced environment, pay excellent attention to detail, and work well under pressure.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Previous Reservations or Call Center experience is preferred

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS.

Must be able to complete two-week initial training 9 am - 3 pm.

Job Details:

Core job duties include (but are not limited to) the following. Other job duties may be assigned.

Manage multi-line phone system
Document client communication via animal management software
Responsible for ensuring a seamless reservation process; including reservations coming in via phone or online reservation site
Resolve booking issues
Verify & input Veterinary medical records
Review new guest profiles and identify any “red flags” that require additional investigation
Educate new & existing clients on all Wag Hotels services, programs, and policies
Make recommendations for guests and up-sell services
Responsible for helping to ensure maximum occupancy in each hotel
Upkeep holiday wait lists during busy periods (including overbooking and backfilling rooms)
Audit various schedules and calendars to ensure accuracy
Communicate with clients, colleagues, and outside agencies by phone and email
General office upkeep
Deliver exceptional customer service
