We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to play a crucial role in our operations at the headquarters in Aurora, IL. This is not a Remote Position.

Position Overview: As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be part of a dynamic Sales Team, developing various markets and nurturing relationships with key customers. This is not just an entry-level position but a stepping stone to a rewarding career. We provide on-the-job training and believe in promoting from within, making SES an ideal place for ambitious professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Serve as the direct point of contact for key customers, ensuring exceptional service and support.
Order Management: Process daily workflow for orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Project Tracking: Enter, monitor, and manage customer projects from start to completion.
Shipping Coordination: Prepare shipping schedules, shipping documents, and advanced shipping notifications.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and support.
Sample Fulfillment: Process and fulfill customer sample requests as needed.
Inventory Management Support: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse teams.
Shipping & Receiving Assistance: Support shipping and receiving operations as required.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation related to standard operating procedures and order processing.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support sales and operations.

Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience in inside sales, order processing, or customer service within the fastener or manufacturing industry is preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping documentation, inventory systems, and order management processes.

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
