Job Title: Office Manager

Location: San Pedro, CA

Yearly Salary: $70,304-$80,000/year

Full Time: Monday–Friday (40 hours/week- No weekends or late evenings)

Sea Smiles Dental is an established, patient-focused private general dental practice in San Pedro, CA. We are committed to clinical excellence, a strong team culture, and delivering a consistently outstanding patient experience. We are seeking an experienced, professional, friendly Dental Office Manager to lead our growing team.

Job Description:

This leadership role oversees a growing team of 7 team members. The Office Manager must be compassionate, fair, and objective, with the ability to manage people, systems, and daily operations simultaneously. This is a hands-on leadership role in a busy, patient-centered practice focused on teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

Direct management and oversight of:
One Relationship Coordinator (Recall Systems)
One Financial Coordinator
Two Dental Assistants
Two Dental Hygienists
One Associate Dentist (part-time)
Lead the Daily Alignment Meeting (Morning Huddle)

Full oversight of:

Presenting Treatment Plans and making Financial Agreements.
Checking patients out and collecting estimated copayments and payments.
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Insurance Systems and Follow-Up (working with our Insurance Coordinator)
Produce and analyze reports:
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual
Department leadership:
Hygiene Department
Administrative Department
Clinical Restorative Department
Conflict resolution and team performance management
Lead and facilitate monthly team meetings
Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and accountability
Maintain compliance with practice protocols, HIPAA, and operational standards
Support daily operations as needed to maintain patient flow and service standards

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Dental Practice Management experience (required)
Proven experience managing teams and multiple departments
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel and dental practice management software (Dentrix is preferred)
High level of professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
Strong conflict-resolution and decision-making skills
Patient-focused, service-driven mindset
