A.C.E. is hiring for Associate & Fully Licensed Community Therapists to be part of a Dynamic Team.

DISCLAIMER:

*MUST BE ABLE TO CONDUCT FACE TO FACE SESSIONS AND TELEHEALTH (HYBRID).

*Although telehealth is an option, the candidates are required to conduct face-to-face therapy in client home, community or in-office setting when requested.

*This is a Contract position. A business License set up will be encouraged which may cost between $0-$100 based on your preferred business structure. This is not a fee that ACE requires. The fee is for a GA business license with the secretary of state if you elect to set up a LLC. A.C.E will provide all instruction for set up business structure free of charge as a part of the new hire class. This is a great opportunity for those who is looking forward to entrepreneurship to open your own private practice.

Hybrid New Hire Training (Mandatory 4 day training) Tuesday- Friday 10am-3:30pm.

ACE Community Support Services is a state-approved CORE, IFI, and Substance Abuse Service Provider. We are currently looking for dedicated Associated & Fully Licensed Community Therapists to provide counseling session per face-to-face and Telehealth session in the following counties: Fulton, Cobb, Cherokee and Douglas, Dawson, Forsyth County service area. The counselor will take place in a community setting, at their homes, schools., agency office or by Telehealth. The team members will have a strong ethical background in counseling, great communicator, written skills and knowledge of professional modality awareness based on the client's needs. You are required to attend a weekly staff meeting (virtually/conference and/or zoom calls weekly, monthly and quarterly office meetings.Assessment are delivered utilizing Biopsychosocial based on client needs of youth and adults.

Mental Health experience required. This is a contract job. Contractors make their own schedules based on the population we serve, most appointments are held between 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, including flexible times on Sat and Sundays. If interested, please submit your resume. Great writing skills are a requirement for documentation.

Education Requirements:

LPC, LAPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, preferred. We encourage bachelor-level professionals currently enrolled in graduate programs in counseling, social work, or related fields, as well as master’s-level student therapists who are actively pursuing licensure, to apply.

Meetings

-Weekly, Monthly office visit, Zoom and/or Conference Calls and quarterly in-office meetings

*Work experience must include experience in conducting assessments, treatment planing and report writing (e.g., B.I.R.P. progress notes, monthly and evaluation of progress towards goals and objectives report, caseload assessments report and assessment, ), and use of community resources for individuals who have a mental illness diagnosis.

Must have strong experience in processing successful intervention and treatment plan development with excellent interpersonal, writing and computer skills.

Training Requirements:

Successfully Completion of a mandatory 4 day New Hire Orientation per Zoom
Agency Training Requirements via approved Policy and Procedures; and
Additional training requirements established by the agency and DHBDD requirements

Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

Master Level or Associate/Fully Counseling Licensed staff will provide a Therapeutic Team approach for client treatment.
Provides assessments of individuals who participate in the Behavioral Health treatment programs utilizing all required forms and assuring quality of care.
Able to observes client to detect the indication of abnormal mental behavior and quickly report information to psychiatrist and APRN
Follows DSM-V criteria in making preliminary diagnosis.
Assures development of action strategies that are consistent with the treatment plan.
Reviews intake information for completeness and follows-up on needed changes or additions
Consults with Behavioral Health Providers and Case Managers on referrals for patient needs to support assessment services including but not limited to: assistance with referrals to job search for patients; basic needs such as food and shelter; scheduling patient transportation for appointments.
Attend clinical teams, staff meeting, and staff training activities as required by the program;
Ensure accurate and timely documentation within 5-7 days.
Scheduling and gathering of information to complete assessments for current team therapist when needed.
Create and development of treatment plan
Create and conduct weekly therapist session based on individuals client goals
Attend all required contractor training, supervision, weekly contractor staffing, and other mandated agency activities;
Follow agency guidelines & industry standards in providing clinical services;
Report all incidents of treatment to Clinical Director including but not limited to member treatment non-compliance, safety, conflict of interest, boundary issues and abuse and neglect;
Will be required to perform other clinical duties as directed by the Direct staff members

Professional appearance and behavior including, but not limited to reporting to homes at the scheduled time
Written and oral clinical communication skills;

Ability to work non-traditional flexible hours based on client schedule
