Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Medical Receptionist, where your energetic communication skills and customer-focused attitude will make a real difference! In this role, you will serve as the frontline ambassador, providing exceptional service to diverse clients via phone and email. Your ability to navigate medical terminology and utilize computer skills will ensure smooth interactions and accurate data entry. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your analysis skills while supporting healthcare-related inquiries in a fast-paced, remote environment. Responsibilities

Manage high volume of incoming patient calls with professionalism and empathy
Monitor and respond to the practice info email account in a timely manner
Assist with Klara patient messaging
Assist with fax management as workflow allows
Provide accurate information to patients regarding providers, services, and scheduling
Communicate proactively with internal team members to clarify insurance and other patient-related questions
Maintain organized, thorough documentation of patient interactions
Occasionally visit clinic locations to strengthen provider knowledge and improve patient-provider matching

Qualifications

Prior experience in a call center, medical office, or patient-facing customer service role preferred
Ability to work from home
Familiarity with healthcare software (ModMed/EMA) systems is preferred
Experience with Availity, Cigna, and UHC provider portals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Empathetic, patient-centered approach
Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
High-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace
