Job Role
The Pizza and Sandwich Maker/Prep positions are back-of-house roles designed for those interested in making food orders for guests, and preparing pizza or sandwich ingredients to ensure smooth work flow during the business day. Individuals hired for this role will be trained and deployed in both the respective sandwich maker or pizza maker and prep positions, and set up for success to best serve guests at the RDU International Airport in Morrisville, NC. At MERA RD2, our focus is providing unique and memorable guest experiences to passengers during their travels. Candidates who are selected for hire will do this by utilizing extensive menu knowledge, accurate ingredient preparation and sandwich or pizza production, and by generally providing a delicious, unique, and attentive experience at Bongiorno & Son or Guy’s Pizza Joint.

Qualifications
- Ability to reliably commute to Morrisville, NC
- Ability to pass a 10 year FBI background check distributed by the Airport
- Experience in quick-service dining production preferred
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of basic food preparation procedures
Job Details
Our hours of operation are from 3:30am until the last flight (typically between 8pm-10pm, but subject to changes). Interested candidates should have flexible availability, and the ability to accommodate changes according to the needs of the business as it exists inside the airport space.
Hourly pay begins at $18/hour.
