About Us

Sassool is a family-owned Mediterranean café with two locations in the Triangle area. We are known for our fresh ingredients, homemade recipes, welcoming atmosphere, and strong team culture.

We are currently looking to hire one full-time Grill Cook for our Cary location. We are seeking dependable team members who want a long-term opportunity and are interested in growing with our company.

Position Overview

The Grill Cook prepares food to order in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining food quality, consistency, and cleanliness standards. Training will be provided for all station responsibilities and prep procedures.

Responsibilities

Grill kebobs including chicken, steak, lamb, and kafta
Prepare chicken and beef/lamb shawarma
Fry falafel
Make sandwiches and salads
Complete meat and vegetable prep for the grill station
Skewer kebobs and portion shawarma meat
Slice vegetables including tomatoes and cucumbers
Prepare sauce ramekins and station supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station

Qualifications

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Dependable and punctual
Team-oriented mindset
Grill or expo experience is a plus, but not required

Descripción del Puesto

El Cocinero de Parrilla prepara comida al momento en un ambiente de cocina dinámico mientras mantiene los estándares de calidad, consistencia y limpieza. Se proporcionará entrenamiento para todas las responsabilidades de la estación y tareas de preparación.

Responsabilidades

Cocinar brochetas de pollo, bistec, cordero y kafta a la parrilla
Preparar shawarma de pollo y de res/cordero
Freír falafel
Preparar sándwiches y ensaladas
Realizar preparación de carnes y vegetales para la estación de parrilla
Ensartar brochetas y porcionar carne de shawarma
Cortar vegetales como tomates y pepinos
Preparar recipientes de salsa y abastecer la estación
Mantener limpia y organizada la estación de parrilla

Requisitos

Actitud positiva y disposición para aprender
Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente de cocina dinámico
Responsable y puntual
Capacidad para trabajar en equipo
Experiencia en parrilla o expo es una ventaja, pero no es obligatoria
