Full Job Description

The Radisson Hotel Casa Grande is seeking a dependable, professional, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while efficiently managing arrivals, departures, reservations, payments, and daily front desk operations.

The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to remain calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and professionally assist guests upon arrival and throughout their stay.
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
Process reservations, cancellations, modifications, room assignments, and payments.
Verify guest identification and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
Provide accurate information regarding hotel amenities, services, policies, local attractions, and area businesses.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
Monitor and maintain accurate reservation and guest information in the hotel reservation system.
Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally, using good judgment and appropriate escalation procedures.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are addressed.
Maintain accurate shift reports, logs, cash handling records, and other required documentation.
Follow established procedures for cash handling, credit card transactions, room keys, guest privacy, and emergency situations.
Assist with resolving reservation discrepancies, room changes, billing questions, and other front desk issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
Follow all hotel, brand, safety, security, and guest-service standards.
Complete required shift duties and ensure appropriate communication during shift changes.
Assist management with additional operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred but not required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment.
Ability to handle difficult situations and guest concerns professionally.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel reservation and payment systems.
Ability to accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required by hotel operations.

Preferred Skills

Hotel front desk or guest services experience.
Experience with hotel reservation/PMS systems.
Cash handling and credit card processing experience.
Knowledge of local attractions, businesses, and services.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
Additional language skills are a plus.
