Help Build an Exceptional Employee Experience

Community First Health Centers is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for employees, managers, and leadership while helping drive key HR functions including leave administration, recruitment, benefits support, and employee relations.

What You'll Do

Leave Administration & Employee Support

You'll play a critical role in helping employees navigate leave programs while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Administering employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, non-FMLA leaves, and other applicable leave laws
Reviewing leave requests and maintaining accurate documentation
Tracking leave eligibility, usage, return-to-work status, and compliance requirements
Collaborating with managers on accommodations, intermittent leave management, and return-to-work planning
Serving as a knowledgeable resource for employees regarding leave policies, procedures, and expectations

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Help attract and hire top talent that supports our mission and organizational growth.

Responsibilities include:

Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting through offer coordination
Partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies
Screening candidates and coordinating interviews
Maintaining accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) records
Monitoring recruitment metrics and identifying opportunities to improve hiring outcomes and candidate experience
Promoting a positive employer brand throughout the hiring process

Benefits Administration Support

Support employees throughout their benefits journey and help ensure accurate plan administration.

Responsibilities include:

Serving as a primary contact for employee benefits questions
Assisting with health, dental, vision, retirement, and supplemental benefit programs
Supporting new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment
Coordinating with vendors and brokers to resolve employee benefit issues
Maintaining accurate benefits records within the HRIS
Assisting with benefits billing, reporting, reconciliation, and employee education initiatives

General Human Resources Support

Contribute to the success of the HR department through ongoing employee and organizational support.

Responsibilities include:

Providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs
Supporting audits, reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives
Assisting with special HR projects and process improvements
Building strong relationships across all levels of the organization

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
3 years or more experience in human resources, recruitment, benefits administration, leave management, or employee relations
Knowledge of employment laws, leave regulations, and HR best practices

Technical Skills

Experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including:
Excel (formulas, functions, data analysis, lookup tables)
Word (advanced document creation and formatting)
PowerPoint (presentation development)
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
